I am an East Tennessee based artist and art teacher!

 

I have been teaching high school art for the past ten years and love engaging with my students through artistic learning and living. My goal as a teacher is to inspire young people to be confident in becoming the people they are meant to be through fostering a creative lifestyle and teaching them some processes along the way.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy live wedding painting. It is a blessing to be able to call myself a vendor in the wedding industry and a true joy to get to immerse myself into a couple's most special day. I love the interactive component that I get to bring to a wedding or event with live painting. Making connections, getting to know people and their stories, and learning about people through being their artist is so special to me!

I have always enjoyed engaging with the arts and living a creative life, whether that be through day to day experiences, art making, supporting other artists, or through my teaching!

Although painting is my daily art making medium, I enjoy practicing all types of art making and brainstorming new ways to create! I hope you will follow along my artistic journey with me as I encourage you to cultivate a creative lifestyle!
