I am Jordan Abba, artist and art teacher. Art is for everyone and it is important that I am able to show that through my personal creating, by making art that anyone can enjoy and connect with, as well as designing relevant and meaningful projects for my students that will motivate them to enjoy the arts! ​

I am motivated by creating work that brings joy to people. Live event painting is one of my favorite creative endeavors because it is completely immersive. I can use the emotion that radiates from the ceremony into the night and with each brushstroke, embed that feeling onto the canvas. The interactive nature of the painting creates a lasting memory for the guests, as well as the couple. Painting the event while it takes place adds a special component to the event itself, but also to the painting as it puts the moment into the art piece where it stays forever as a tangible impression.
